Specialized Research on Light Environments

SUFN LIGHT

Developed jointly by the SUFN Lighting R&D team and the Coastal Green Building and New Energy Utilization Innovation Team at Qingdao University of Technology, this work investigates the mechanisms by which indoor lighting environments influence work efficiency and fatigue recovery. It has resulted in a spatiotemporal‑behavior‑based method and system for adjusting residential lighting environments. Drawing on research into light’s psychological and physiological effects, brainwave activity, and subjective perceptions, the approach aims to enhance occupant comfort, promote human‑centered healthy lighting, and ultimately improve quality of life.
